 The SCL-8000P from SwiftColor is the latest addition to the SwiftColor range. Utilising the same "single pass" print head technology developed by Canon, but adapted for use with pigment-based inks which have improved resistance to UV fade, improved water resistance and improved chemical resistance*. The SCL-8000P is capable of impressive print speeds up to 6" per second (152mm/s) and gives stunning, vivid colour labels at a resolution of 1200dpi. The SCL-8000P is a wide-format printer meaning it is ideal for printing extra-large labels such as those found on shipping crates or chemical drums. The SCL-8000P makes use of four large 240ml capacity CMYK ink cartridges meaning that the need to regularly replace consumables is reduced and printing costs are kept to a minimum. Use of an external powered label roll unwinder allows for the use of large rolls of media. Packaged in a heavy duty metal case, the SCL-8000P can be used in both office and factory environments.
*Use of approved pigment-ink-compatible label media is essential. Pigment inks tend to perform better on matt label media and coated synthetic materials such as our S-JET polypropylene media. Please ask for details.

- #WARRANTY# This SwiftColor product is supplied with a 12 month return-to-base parts and labour warranty. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs associated with returning the product to KTEC's workshops for repair under warranty. The provision of a loan printer for the period of any repairs is not covered by this warranty. The warranty is not an "on-site" service. On-site service options are available at additional cost.
