 Primera's new CATALYST Laser Marking System makes exteme durable labels useful for demanding conditions like for labeling vehicle parts , warehouse racking, motors, pumps, air conditioning and solar panels for example.
It's built to be used right on your desktop or workbench, making the laser marking process easy and convenient. It's used just like any other computer based printer. The main difference is that CATALYST contains a high-powered, solid state fibre optic coupled laser. The laser etches away a middle layer of a laminated label beneath a clear cover to create the label details with an extreme scratch / scuff damage and chemical durable surface.
The labels produced on CATALYST are designed to be replacements for etched metal plates as well as thermal-transfer labels that could otherwise be scratched off or rubbed of when cleaning. The process does not cause any smoke so safe to use and no complex fume extraction needed.
