A label roll rewinder enables you to neatly rewind printed labels back on to a cardboard core straight from the printer rather than allowing them to spill on to the desk or floor. A label rewinder is particularly useful if you plan to print large batches of labels or if you need to put the printed labels on to an automatic label applicator machine. Some of these devices are classed as rewinder / unwinders. You can also use a rewinder / unwinder to not only rewind labels, but also to hold a larger roll of supply media than the label printer can normally take in its internal media holder making the task of changing the media a less frequent event.

DPR Powered label roll rewinder for the Primera LX400 & LX200

From DPR this label rewinder is specially designed with the Primera LX400 and LX200 inkjet label printers in mind, however it will work equally well with other small clamshell format thermal label printers. The label rewinder includes a moulded metal base which is designed to accomodate the LX400 or LX200 printer and prevent movement of the printer. It also includes a reversing "unwind" action ideal for models of printer that perform a reverse feed before printing.

The UR-400 is equipped with an expanding chuck mechanism so it can be used with different label roll core sizes and is capable of rewinding a roll of labels up to 4" in width and label rolls up to 7" in diameter.
