Full Colour Inkjet Label Printer

Brand new from colour labelling specialists VIPColor is the VP485e. A medium duty full colour inkjet label printer from the makers of the highly successful VP2020.

Continuing to use well respected Hewlett Packard inkjet technology the VP485e is able to provide photo quality full colour labels on demand and up to an A4 page in size! Print speed has been significantly improved and the VP485e can now achieve throughput speeds of upto 4 inches per second on draft mode.

The VP485e makes use of individual 28ml cyan, magenta and yellow ink cartridges and a 69ml black cartridge meaning that many labels can be printed before the cartridges need replacing.

Large high visibility indicator lights on the VP485e control panel warn of "low ink" or "out of paper" alerts making the VP485e ideal for busy factory environments.

Now choose your label roll Unwinder and Rewinder for use with your VP485e!

Your VP485e will need an unwinder to hold the roll of blank labels and unwind them as the VP48e prints. You may also need a rewinder to wind up the freshly printed labels on to a neat roll. We recommend the unwinder and rewinder below from DPR.

DPR Unwinder with "Quick Chuck" mechanism

This external label unwinder is ideal for use with the VIP Color VP485e colour inkjet label printer, but can also be used with any label printer on the market which supports the use of an external label unwinder.

It features an easy to set up "quick chuck" label roll holding system and supports the rewind/unwind function needed by the VP485e. It also includes a specially designed base plate with unique positioning holes for the rubber feet of the VP485e printer to fit in to thus ensuring the unwinder is straight and in-line with the printer every time. When used in conjunction with the DPR rewinder for the VP485e (above) you have the best chance of printing high quality accurately positioned labels using this unwinder.

Accepts label rolls up to a maximum of 8.27" (210mm) in width

Will unwind rolls of labels up to a maximum of 9.85" (250mm) in diameter

Quick chuck core holder for use with 3" (76mm) diameter cores (does not support smaller cores)
